The end of the first semester is fast approaching and second semester will fly by! It's time to start thinking seriously about what you plan to do after graduation. For those of you interested in attending a college/university, you will need to take the SAT or ACT plus writing (the majority of colleges accept both). It is imperative that you take these assessments during the Spring semester of your junior year. We recommend that you take both at least once as students will typically perform better on one over the other. You may then need to repeat one of the assessments in the summer and possibly fall to achieve the required scores for your college of interest. Study guides are available outside of the guidance office. Students on free or reduced lunch are eligible for financial assistance. See Mrs. McKeehan in the Guidance & Counseling office for more information. Georgia State UniversityThe Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Honors College at Georgia State University have some exciting opportunities available that we'd like to share.
